Yesterday I went from Market Harborough to London and back, 83 miles each way, in a total elapsed time of 2 hours 0 minutes 17 seconds! Liverpol-Norwich remains a problem, but refurbished trains are starting to appear. A lot of work is going on behind the scenes by TWEM and associated groups to make the case for more resources to DfT - who are the real culprits through inadequate specification of the franchise.
