I travel from Alfreton to Leicester each day and I am disgusted by the overcrowding issue on the return journey (Norwich - Liverpool run).

I suffer from arthritis in my joints. I'm 6ft tall and finding sitting in a confined space very uncomfortable - in fact it hurts my legs (I have shooting pains for the whole one and a half hour journey) to sit, bolt upright in my seat with no room to move. I'd like to see less seats in carriages - not more. To overcome the overcrowding issue requires more carriages.

I'd also like to be able to sit at a table seat without having to perform gymnastics getting in and out of the seat and without kicking the person opposite me. Trains should be made for ultimate customer comfort - after all, i consider myself to be a priority client as I spend over £2.5k per year for this dire service!

Whats more - Why is it not possible for season tickets holders to reserve a seat on their journeys each day?
