November 29, 2007 - 11:05 AM Nigel Any chance that the new franchise can sort out the overcrowding on the Oakham to Leicester line. My wife travels into Leicester rather than taking the car but is forced often to stand on the 08-10 in and the 16:20 back to Oakham till Melton and forget even getting on the 17-20. More coaches and perhaps 1/2 hr service at both peak times would be nice utopia but if they are serious about using public transport. It is still quicker and cheaper to take the car in and park it than use the train and a better experience! IP : 81.193.96.17 |
