November 06, 2007 - 09:44 AM David Halton I see that East Midlands Trans will be introducing some new ideas on ticketing. E.g. the £1 ticket and other flexible options. This is just what is needed to encourage people away from their cars and is an intelligent way of spreading and predicting loads. The ideas on revenue protection should be welcomed too. Anything which stops fare evasion is beneficial to those of us who are honest and pay the appropriate fare. Rail will win when it is seen as the best option. IP : 128.243.104.17 |
